In 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by the United Nations as a new global sustainable development agenda for 2030. Our projects contribute to a number of these so-called SDGs, such as SDG 15: Life on land.
Deforestation and desertification - caused by man and climatic change - pose enormous challenges to sustainable development and affect the lives of millions of people in their fight against poverty. Action is taken to manage the forests and challenge desertification.
