One of our newest projects the ‘JSMBT Improved Cook Stove Project’ (more information to follow on the website under ‘Projects’ soon) has been registered as a Gold Standard project on February 16th 2012. The project has been able to meet all the Gold Standard stringent requirements. Obtaining this standard rightfully allows the project to claim that positive social impacts on a household level are achieved along with up to 40,000 tons of CO2 reduced per year to fight climate change.
